Standard Committees

As for first time Model United Nations participants, Standard Committees will have courses planned to guide you into the world of Model UN, and our chair will be more than willing to bring you up to date before the actual conference.

Advanced Committee

Advanced Committees are committees that builds upon participates’ previous experiences in Model UN and explore the true essence of simulating real world situations through using a modified, committee-specific version of rules of procedures. Seeing how these modification are made to push the Model United Nations experience to the next level, a basic understanding of the standard Model UN rules of procedures is required to maximize the experience you get from the Advanced Committees of HSMUN 2016. Without the need to go through the basics of Model UN, advanced committees will be having their own separate advance courses on the first day of camp. If you are someone who are someone who has participated in various conferences in the past and wants to elevate your Model UN experience through fierce debate and think-on-your-feet situations, Advance Committees of HSMUN 2016 is definitely the choice for you.
