Dear Delegates,

It is my distinct honor to invite you to participate in the tenth annual High School Model United Nations Conference (HSMUN) 2016. I had the pleasure of participating as both a delegate and a staff member in HSMUN 2014 and 2015. I Therefore, I am more than thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as the Secretary General in this year's conference.

In HSMUN, delegates come together to discuss about diverse topics, including international security, human rights, and economics. During conferences, delegates are encouraged to speak up their thoughts, to exchange ideas and cooperate with one another. We hope to see delegates not only gain knowledge but also have empathy for our world. This year, we have included two unique committees: The International Court of Justice and The Geneva Peace Talks on Syria Crisis Committee to tackle on new aspects of recent international events. Other than invaluable conferences, there will also be exciting activities and delicate social events. Thought these events, delegates con learn leadership, critical thinking, networking and develop lifelong friendships.

Each year we strive to give delegates exquisite conferences experiences, conferences that broaden horizons and challenge thoughts, conferences that spark passion.
